지난번 답변을드렸는데 여전히 이해가 안가시는  것으로 보아서

다른각도에서  보죠

I declare that all the information contained in the invoice to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

우선 declare라는동사는 두가지 구조를 가질수 있습니다.

1. declare that 주어+동사

이경우에  시제를 가진 동사가 나외 있어야하는데

언듯보아서 동사로볼수 있는 것이  to be/contained

to be는 부정사이니까 안되는거죠

그러면 contained는 가능하냐 이건 후치분사로 관계사+be동사가 생략된것입니다.

all the information ( that is생략) contained in the invoice

즉 contained in the invoice 이 all the information 을 꾸미는말이 되는거죠.

왜냐하면 정동사라면   타동사 contain은// contain+무엇 //으로 나타나야하는데

무엇에 해당하는목적어는 없고 in the invoice 라는 전치사구만 나와 있어서 정동사가 아닌거죠

그러니까 결론적으로 that접속사가 있을 때  정동사가 없으니 불완전한문장이 되는 것입니다.

2. declare +//목적어//+//to부정사목적보어//

이구조로도 가능한데 

that을 포함한

//that all the information contained in the invoice// 이 구조 전체를 목적어로 볼수 있느냐는것입니다.

가능하지 않습니다

that이 all  the 앞에 올수 없기 때문이죠.

그 이유는

all을 정관사 the앞에 올 수 있는 형용사이고

that 은 the와 같은 종류의 한정사로써 같은 장소에 오기때문에 that/the 두 개가 동시에 사용될수없죠.

따라서 지시형용사일 수도 없습니다.

그러면 결론은 나왔죠 잘못된문장이라는 거죠

1.declare that 주어+동사 구조로보고 

 that을 접속사로보면 to be를 is로 바꿔야 합니다

I declare that all the information contained in the invoice( is/ to be) true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

2. declare +//목적어//+//to부정사목적보어//구조로 보면  that만 없애면 바른문장이 되는것입니다.

I declare that all the information contained in the invoice to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

그럼 이내용을 믿을 수 없다고 한다면

that 을 빼거나 to be 를 is 로 바꾸거나 해야 맞는데... 아무 생각없이 읽다보면 뭐가 잘못된건지 모르고 넘어가겠네요.

생략된 부분을 보완하면 아래와 같습니다.

I declare that all the information (that is)contained in the invoice( are) to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

흔히 쓰이는 be동사가 생략된 형태입니다.

일종의 서약, 계약 형태인 경우 의미를 강조 하기위한 문투로 to be를 사용했고 연결 기능만 있는 be 동사는 생략한 형태입니다.

이 문장에서 that절에서 주어가 all the information contained in the invoice 이거인데 그럼 동사는 무엇인가요?? 도저히 봐도 동사가 없네요. 구지 that을 안쓰고 그냥 declare +목적어+to부정사 이런 형식인거 같은데 that절을 쓰면 그 that절에 주어 동사가 있어야 되는데 주어만 있고 동사는 없는데 어떻게 된거죠???

어떤분은 contain이 that절의 주어라 그러는데 해석을 해보면 그 송장에 포함되어진 모든정보들 이렇게 되는데 contained는 앞에 정보를 단지 수식하는 과거분사 아닌가요??? 지난번 에 물어봤을때 contain이 that절의 과거라 그러던데 말이 안되는거 같아서 다시질문드립니다.

문제의 시작은, 이 문장을 that절의 전체를 delare의 목적어로 보고, 그 결과,  that을 접속사로 

생각한 것으로부터 문제가 시작되었습니다.

이 문장속의 that를 지시형용사,  to be true and correct 를 목적격보어인 5형식 문장으로

보면 모든 문제는 풀립니다.

좀 더 익숙한 어순은 all that information이지만 여기선 정관사 the가 있어서

that all the information ~이 맞습니다.

all the boys등의 어순에서도 all이 형용사란건 알고계시죠?

 I declare     that               all the information     contained in the invoice         to be true and correct

     동사       지시형용사     형     목적어               목적어를 위한 수식형용사구          목적격보어

to the best of my knowledge.
