A great many archaeologists' journeys began in childhood,

and this is true of Heinrich Schliemann, discoverer of the ancient city of troy.

많은 훌륭한 고고학자들의 여행은 어린시절부터 시작되었으며,  고대국가인 트로이를 발견한 Heinrich Schliemann 도 실제로 그랬다.

Schliemann's father often read to him from Homer's epic poem, the ilad.

Schliemann의 아버지는 종종 그에게 호머의 대서사시(소설을 말함)인 일리야드를 읽어주었었다.

young Schliemann, unlike most people, believed that the poem told a true story.

어린 Schliemann는 대부분의 다른 사람들과 달리 그 이야기를 진짜라고 믿었다.

So he began to travel in search of the place where Greek and Trojan heroes had met in bettle.

After years of incredible frustration, Schliemann proved that he had been right.

인기있는 지역 프로그램은 세금을 낮추기 위한다는 명목으로 없어져서는 안된다.

The drama program is not only popular, but also important.

드라마 프로그램은 인기가 있을 뿐만 아니라 중요하기도 한다.

Many teenagers who might otherwise get into mischief participate in the program.

다른 방면으로는 잘못된 길로 빠져버릴 수 있는 십대들은 그 프로그램에 참여한다.

The drama program's annual budget is only $1000, There are about 30000 city taxpayers.

드라마 프로그램의 연간 예산은 단 1000달러밖에 되지 않으며, (우리시에는) 대략 30000면의 납세자가 있다.

Thus this funding cut would bring a sayings of only three cents per taxpayer!

그러므로 이러한 자금공급의 중단은 납세자 한명당 단 3센트의 세금을 줄이는 것밖에 되지 않는다.
