Halfway through the semester we started studying on Italian operas. He was interested in Italian opera, but lacked in studying Italian. However for two months, he memorized Italian arias perfectly and sang them brilliantly. After that, he studied Italian opera diligently and  taught Italian opera to younger students  and performing together. 

 I believe he will adapt well to the new education system.

도와드리고 싶은데, 하고자 하시는 말을 잘 이해하지 못 하겠어요. 예를 들어 lacked in studying Italian가 무슨 의미인지 모르겠어요.그리고 아리아를 완벽하게 암기하고 노래할 수 있게 된 뒤, 오페라를 열심히 공부했다는 상황도 좀 이상하고요...
