결론적으로 한국형 중증도 분류도구는 상당히 효율적이지만 앞으로 국내 실정에 맞게 개선이 필요할 것으로 판단되며, 한국형 중증도 분류담당 응급구조사의 업무현황은 여러 특성에 따라 업무의 차이가 있었고 법률에 규정된 업무보다 더 많은 업무를 시행하고 있어 법적인 보호를 받지 못하는 상황이다.
