LCF 는 런던예술대학교 (University of the Arts London / UAL)을 구성하는 6개 컬리지 중 하나로, 주로 패션 제작 등에서 두각을 나타내는 학교입니다.

IELTS 는 영어시험 이름이에요. 외국인이 영어권 국가의 학교를 갈 때 제출하는 공인인증 시험입니다. 토플과 같은 형태 (시험이 같다는 뜻 아닙니다)라고 할 수 있죠.

학비는 3~4년 뒤라서 정확하게는 알 수 없지만 지금에서 올라간다면 대략 24,000 ~ 26,000 파운드 정도가 되지 않을까 싶습니다. 지금 현재 환율로 환산하면 대략 4천만원 정도 되겠지요.

LCF 를 포함한 런던예술대학교 (UAL) 입학은 한국에서 고등학교를 졸업하고 바로 입학은 불가합니다. 대신 1년제 대학예비과정 (Art Foundation, Foundation Diploma 등등)의 과정을 거쳐서 입학할 수 있습니다. 런던예술대학교 안에도 여러가지 대학예비과정이 있구요, 이 중 LCF에서 직접 운영하는 것도 있습니다. 다만 파운데이션을 거쳤다고 입학이 "보장" (일정 점수 이상이면 입학가능하다는 약속을 받고 입학하는 것)은 아닙니다.
