먼저 신용장개설의 독촉에 관해선데여.
we regret to say that the letter of credit covering our sales note No.100 has not reached us in spite of our repeatd requests.
we have also continuously made enquires of the advising bank in Seoul only to be informed no advice has been received yet.
since our suppliers are pressing us to give them confirmation on arranging the products as soon as possible.
It would be very difficult to get the products on time from them unless we do receive the L/C by the end of October.
In this situation, we may be forced to cancel the contract.
Therefore, we want you to take an action immediately to establish the L/C by the end of October so taht we san sontinue mutual friendly business relations.
If you have opened it already,please inform us of the L/C number.

이번은 신용장의 조건변경 요청에 관한거여.
Thank you for your L/C 12579 covering 2,000 sets of washing machines issued by The Bank of Tokyo, Osaka in Japan.
We regret to inform you, however, that owing to stevedores strike,although it
will last for only a few days considering the past experiences, it would be difficult for us to clear the goods by the shipping date and validity in the L/C for 15 days respectively so that we can make shipment as soon as the strike is settled.
And upon checking the stipulation given in the L/C, we have found there
are discrepancies between the contract and the L/C.
Please amend them by cabler or FAX as follows.
Payment terms : from 'FOB Osaka' to 'CIF Osaka'
Item number : ET 124 instead of ET 123
