영어 수학10학년 2문제요~

Q : Heather and Kim took part in a scavenger hunt. (H와 K는 사냥을 나갔다)They begin the hunt at the same starting point.(그들은 동일한 장소에서 사냥을 시작하였다.) Heater walks 20m north, then 50m east to find her first treasure.(H는 북쪽으로 20m 간 다음 50m 동쪽으로 가서 첫번째 보물(사냥감(???)을 발견하였다.) Kim walks 70m south, then 30m west and stops.(K는 남으로 70m 간다음 서로 30m 가서 멈췄다.)

 

일단 십자로 수직선을 만든 다음 간 거리별로 표시하면 직각삼각형이 나옵니다. 

 a) How far is each girl from the starting point ? 두 여자는 최초 보다 얼마나 떨어져 있는가

     H : root(20^2+50^2)=root(2900)=10root(29)

     K : root(30^2+70^2)=root(5800)=10root(58)

 

 b) How far the girls from each other ? 두 여자끼리는 얼마나...

    root(80^2+90^)=root(14500)=10root(145)

 c) Suppose Heather looks directly at kim. Will the starting point be in her direct line of sight? Explain

     H가 K를 바로 본다고 가정하면 H의 시선에 출발점이 있는가    없다

 

아랫문제는 Slope에 연관된 것 같네요.

이부분은 해석을 되는 데 상황이 이해가 가질 않아 해석만 드립니다. 죄송...

 

Q: One safety standard for a ladder is that the distance from the wall to the base of the ladder should be one-quarter of the distane up the wall to the top of the ladder.

안전사다리가 있는데 사다리 하단부와 벽과의 거리는 사다리 위와 벽과의 거리보다 1/4더 높다

 

 a) What is the slope of a ladder that is leaning safety?

     안전기댐(leaning safety : 대충 이해는 가나 정확한 의미???) 측면에서 이사다리의 기울기는?

 b) A ladder is 2.6m long. The top of the ladder touches a window 2.5m above the ground. What is the slope of the ladder? Is the ladder safe?

   사다리가 2.6미터. 땅위에서 2.5미터 위에 있는 창에 사다리 꼭대기가 닿는다. 사다리의 기울기는?

   그리고 안전하게 사다리를 이용할 수 있는가?

 c) Choose either part a or b write to explain how you determined the slope.

     a, b 두가지의 경우에서 한가지를 선택하여 기울기를 어떻게 결정할 지 설명하시요.
