My neighbor, Mrs. Green, first told me about it. "Have you seen the tree? The one down at the corner," she explained. "It's a beautiful tree ㅡ all kinds of colors. Cars are stopping to look at the tree. You ought to see it," I told her I would, but I soon forgot about the tree. Three days later, I was jogging down the street, when a splash of bright orange caught my eye. For an instant, I thought someone's house had caught fire. Then I remembered about ter tree. There was nothing remarkable about the shpe of the tree, a medium-sized maple, but Mrs. Green had been right about its ___________.

내 이웃인 그린부인은 처음으로 제게 그것에 대해 말씀하셨다. "그 나무 본적 있니? 그것은 요 아래 모퉁이에 있단다. " 그녀는 설명했다. "그것은 온갖 색을 띠는 아름다운 나무란다. 차들은 그 나무를 보기 위해 멈추고 있지. 꼭 그것을 봐보렴. " 난 그녀에게 그렇게 하겠다고 말했지만 곧 그 나무에 대해 잊게 되었다. 3일이 지나서 난 길 아래에서 조깅을 하고 있었는데 어떤 오랜지빛이 번쩍하고 내 눈에 띄었다. 즉시 나는 누군가의 집에 불이 났다고 생각하였다. 그리고나서 그 나무에 대해 기억하게 되었다. 그곳에는 어떤 눈에 띌만한 멋진 모양의 나무는 없고 중간 크기의 단풍나무 뿐이었지만 그린부인은 그것의 '색'에 대해서는 (아름답다는 그말은) 정확했다. [or  '색'에 정당함(아름다움)을 가졌었던 것이다.]

"너 그 나무를 봤니? 그구석 아래에 있는거.."

 she explained. "It's a beautiful tree ㅡ all kinds of colors. Cars are stopping to look at the tree. You ought to see it,"

그녀는 설명했다. " 그건 아름다운 나무야 - 모든 종류의 색깔이 - 차들이 그 나무를 보기위해 멈췄다. 너도 그것을 봐야해."

I told her I would, but I soon forgot about the tree.

난 그녀에게 그렇게하겠다고 말했다. 그런데 난 그나무에 관해서 금방 잊어버렸다.

Three days later, I was jogging down the street, when a splash of bright orange caught my eye.

3일이지나고 나는 거리에서 조깅을 하고 있는 도중 밝은 오랜지색의 물결이 나의 눈을 사로 잡았다.

 For an instant, I thought someone's house had caught fire.

순간동안, 나는 누군가의 집에 불이 났다고 생각했다.

Then I remembered about ter tree.

그때 난 그린부인이 말한 나무에 관한것이 생각났다.

 There was nothing remarkable about the shpe of the tree, a medium-sized maple,

그 나무의 외형은 주목할만한것이 없었고 중간크기의 은행나무였다.

 but Mrs. Green had been right about its _colors_.

그러나 그린부인은 나무의 색깔에 관한건 정확했다.
