The Miami Marlins, who succeeded in winning three consecutive games due to the excellent pitching of their pitchers, will have Shaun Anderson (0-1, 10.13 ERA) make his second attempt for his first win of the season. Despite using Stanek and Muñoz, the bullpen conceded runs at the start of the tie-breaker, likely pointing to ongoing struggles throughout the series.
The previous game spotlighted Seattle's left-handed pitcher jinx and Miami's struggles against fastball pitchers simultaneously. It also demonstrated how poorly Seattle performs on the road. Considering Gilbert's pitching, the Miami lineup remains in a disadvantageous situation, and Miami is weak during day games. Furthermore, Seattle's performance against right-handed pitchers is notably different. Based on overall abilities, the Seattle Mariners are closer to victory.
