Im Chan-kyu (5 wins, 4 losses, 4.11 ERA) is aiming for his 6th win of the season. In the home game against KIA on the 11th, Im Chan-kyu allowed 3 runs in 6 innings and took the loss, but his pitching in the remaining innings, except for the 1st inning, was quite stable. This is his first rivalry game at Jamsil this season, but Im Chan-kyu is a pitcher who can guarantee a Quality Start (QS) at his current level. LG’s batting lineup continues to show strong performance at home, having scored 12 runs, including 3 home runs, against Kim Kwang-hyun and Kim Taek-hyung in the Wednesday game. The revival of Oh Ji-hwan could significantly boost team morale. However, the bullpen, which allowed 8 runs after Ens was pulled from the game, definitely needs reorganization.
Doosan

Both teams successfully turned around their momentum in the previous games. The difference is that LG avoided using their ace and rested at home for a day, whereas Doosan came up from Ulsan. While LG might have a slight edge in batting momentum, Doosan’s inability to use Kim Taek-yeon is a disadvantage. Furthermore, Shirakawa’s ongoing command issues under the pressure of full-capacity crowds could be a weak point in this game as well. LG’s stronger starting pitcher gives them an edge for the win.
