Returning from injury on the 10th against SSG, Barnes pitched a perfect game with 6 innings, 2 hits, 9 strikeouts, and no runs, showing what 100% means. He pitched well against Doosan on April 7th at home with 6 innings and 2 runs, so this game is also promising. In Sunday’s game against Eom Sang-baek, Lotte's batting lineup only managed to score 3 points and has been failing to capitalize on chances since returning home. Noh Jin-hyuk, who concluded games for two consecutive days, exemplifies a bad contract. This rain could certainly help the tired bullpen.
Doosan
Choi Won-joon (4 wins, 6 losses, ERA 6.67) will attempt to change the mood. In the June 30th home game against SSG, Choi pitched excellently with 5 innings and 1 run, allowing only 2 hits. This is his first appearance against Lotte this season; however, his problem is that his away games are not as good as his home games. Especially in the 5th inning, they managed only 1 point, which was significant. The bullpen collapsed with 5 runs in 4.1 innings, with Lee Young-ha’s inconsistency being a major issue.

Additionally, Barnes has returned perfectly and has the home advantage, while Choi Won-joon has been unreliable in away games this year. Lotte is closer to winning with a better starting pitcher.
