오늘까지 해달라고 하시니.. 좀 서둘렀습니다.

혹 오타나 전달하는 의미가 거친 부분이 있더라도 이해 바랍니다.

 

 

I see that kind of stuff happen to women in real life all the time.
실제 생활에서 항상 그런 종류의 일이 여자에게 일어나는 것을 본다.

And I don't like to see it happen to people, but %99.9999999999 of the time that women get suckered into prostitution it is because they put their selves in that situation.
그리고 그런일들이 사람들에게 일어나는 것을 보기 싫다.  그러나 여성들이 매춘에 휩쓸리는 시간의  99.9999999999퍼센트는 여성들이 스스로를 그러한 상황에 처하게 만들었기 때문이다.

Very very very few women that are forced into prostitution didn't do anything to become that way.
매춘하도록 강요된 여성 중 벗어나기 위한 어떤 것도 하지 않는 여성은 거의 없다.

Even the girl in the movie was doing something that wasn't right, and that is the reason why those things happened to her.
심지어 영화속의 소녀는 옳지 않은 무언가를 하고 있었다. 그리고 그것은 그러한 일들이 그녀에게 일어나는 이유이다.

If she wouldn't have stolen that wallet she would not have been forced into prostitution.
만약 그녀가 지갑을 훔치지 않았더라면 매춘을 하도록 강요받지 않았을 것이다.

The director is the same one that directed The Isle. It was a well made movie but I just didn't like it. Have you ever seen it?
그 감독은 섬을 감독한 바로 그 사람이다.  잘 만들어진 영화지만 난 그 영화를 싫어한다. 그 영화 본적 있냐?

But I am glad she is like that, because she could be a lot worse.
하지만 그녀는 그런것 같아 기쁘다. 왜냐하면 그녀는 더 나빠질 수 있었기 때문이다.

A lot of single women aren't very composed, if you know what I mean.
만약 내가 의미하는 것을 안다면 많은 미혼 여성들은 마음이 편치 않을 것이다.

She doesn't drink and she doesn't go to bars to try to find boy friends like a lot of single women that I know.
내가 아는 많은 미혼 여성들 같이 그녀는 술을 마시지도, 남자 친구를 만들려 바에 가지도 않는다.

I don't read the bible as often as I should, but my mom is always telling me to, and she always helps me understand what it says.
나는 내가 읽어야 하는 만큼 자주 성경을 읽지 않는다.  그러나 어머니는 항상 읽도록 말을 한다 그리고 그녀는 성경이 말하는 바를 이해할 수 있도록 항상 도와준다.

I understand most of the bible, but I don't think that any body knows everything in the bible.
나는 성경의 대부분을 이해한다. 그러나 누구도 성경의 모든 것을 안다고 생각하지 않는다.

 

She teaches Sunday school for the little kids in her church, but she doesn't try to preach or anything,
I don't believe in women preachers because the bible says against it.
그녀는 교회에서 어린 아이들을 위한 일요 학교에서 가르친다.  그러나 그녀는 전도하려 하거나 그렇진 않는다.  성경은 여성 전도사에 대해 반대하기 때문에 나는 여성 전도사를 신뢰하지 않는다.

If you ever want to talk about something in the bible to me, just say it, maybe you know some stuff that I don't know, and maybe I know some stuff you don't know.
만약 내게 성경속의 무언가에 대해 이야기 하고 싶다면 그냥 말해라. 혹 내가 모르는 것을 알고 있을지도 모른다 그리고 당신이 모르는 것을 내가 알고 있을 수도 있다.

But I ain't trying to pressure you into anything, just if you want to.
그러나 나는 당신으로 하여금 어떤 것이 되도록 압력을 가하려 하지 않는다. 만약 당신이 원한다면.

So it only took one missionary to get a lot of Koreans to be Christians?
그럼 많은 한국 사람들을 기독교인으로 교화하는데 전도사 한명이면 되느냐?

I have already got the results from the test, but it has some bad news with it.
나는 벌써 테스트 결과를 받았다. 그러나 약간 안 좋은 소식이 있다.

There was a tornado that came through Atlanta and blew down a lot of big buildings and messed up a lot of peoples homes.
토네이도가 아틀란타를 통해 왔다 그리고 많은 큰 건물들을 넘어 뜨리고 많은 사람들의 집을 망가뜨렸다.

So the state has to spend a lot of money to clean up the city and fix peoples houses.
그래서 주는 도시를 청소하고 사람들의 집을 고치는데 많은 돈을 써야 한다.

Because they have to spend so much money they are not hiring any new police officers, firefighters, or any body like that.
엄청나게 많은 돈을 지출 하므로 그들은 새로운 경찰관이나 소방관 또는 그와 같은 어떤 사람들을 고용하지 않는다.

They eve have to fire a lot of people because they have to spend so much money.
왜냐하면 많은 돈을 지출해야만 하기 때문에 심지어 많은 사람들을 해고해야 한다.

But, when they start hiring people again there will be a lot of job vacancies because of the people they had to fire.
그러나 그들이 다시 사람들을 고용하기 시작할 때에는 그들이 해고했던 사람들로 인한 많은 일 공백이 있을 것이다.

So I have to wait some more, but it is worth it because there will be a lot better positions open now, so basically I have a guaranteed job, but I just have to wait for it.
그래서 난 좀더 기다려야 했다.  그러나 더 나은 직책이 이제는 열려 있을 것이기 때문에 그만한 가치가 있다.

I will have to go get another regular job until then though because I am about to run out of the money I saved from my last job, which I got fired from because I had to take so many days off to take all the police test.
모든 경찰 시험을 받기 위해 여러 날을 쉬어야 했기에, 해고 되었던 이전 직장에서 저축해 놓은 돈이 거의 떨어지고 있기 때문에 나는 그때까지 다른 일정한 직업을 구해야 할 것이다

So everything will work out fine, but I just hate sitting around waiting on people.
모든 일이 잘 되어 갈 것이다. 그러나 나는 빈둥거리면서 사람들을 기다리는 것을 싫어 한다
