Hello Kongju,
I am okay; I am glad that you are as well. Do you think that you lost a
few
kg from laughing? :D hahahahahahahaha :P Did you really laugh out
loud?? Or
are you just saying that? ^^; Wow, Easter eggs!? Did you dye them
different
colors and have an Easter egg hunt? I haven't done those things in such
a
long time. Do you celebrate Easter? Are you and your family Christian?
My
family and I are Catholic ^^ I would say that my Easter was just like
any
normal day for me. I still felt very sick and I had to study for my
math
test that I had today. My family went out to eat at 'Red Lobster' but I
just
stayed home. They did bring me food though :) It was some type of pasta
and
grilled chicken. It was very good but a bit spicy, I enjoyed it though.
I think that you should go to a college that is strong in what you want
to
study. I think that it would be better than just going to a college by
name
alone. My other pen pals tell me of how parents want their children to
go to
the most prestigious school. I think it's called 'Sky', each letter is
for
the name of the most famous school. I have heard that it's much better
to
graduate from one of these schools in Korea, but I don't really know.
Will
you have a greater chance at getting a job if you do go to one of these
schools? I think you should go with the best school in your opinion,
more on
what the school can do for you, not just how famous it is.
Actually, a few semesters ago one of my teachers said that the best
schools
in America (Ivy) aren't really that 'great'. He did say that really
good
people do graduate from these schools but the other things he told our
class
made me kind of speechless. For example, he worked in the office of one
of
the schools and he said that the two most important things that would
get
you accepted to the school was who your family was and how much you can
give
to the school. Another thing was he once had a grandmother in his
class. She
told him that she had a grandson that was teaching at Harvard and he
wanted
to give a failing grade to a student but the school wouldn't let him;
he had
to give the student an A. Also my teacher went to one of these 'good'
colleges and he said that a D grade is passing. A D grade is failing in
my
school -__ I am not sure if it's like this today, but it is still kind
of
disturbing to me. So I think that you should just go to a school that
is
enjoyable to you. It would suck if you hated to go to school every day.
No more trips for Kongju? :D Where do you usually go? I haven't been on
a
leisure trip in such a long time. I think the last time was when I went
to
the Philippines in the beginning of 2004. Wow, it has been 3 years
already.
It's mostly because I don't have any money, but still, if I did have
money I
probably just stay home most of the time because of school :D You are
really
thinking of leaving Korea when you are an adult? I think that's
interesting,
what makes you think this? Are you tired of living in Korea?? ^^; To be
honest, I am kind of tired of living in the US; I want to live some
where
else for a while. What countries do you have in mind? I think you
should
live in the US! ;) Why? For no particular reason, really! ^___^
You’re getting a cold as well? That's too bad. 춘곤증, perhaps? I am
still
sick! It's so frustrating. I'm mostly okay but have a cough and my nose
is
all runny :'( I hope that you get better from your sore throat. I think
sore
throats are the worst since it's hard to eat or drink. Ah, every time I
get
a soar throat I get sick after. It's kind of strange, but it's true ^^
So if
I get a soar throat, I know that I will be sick soon ^^;
Yes I saw Cherry filter videos on youtube. Ah, have you seen the videos
of
the Korean students that sing at a noraebang? I think they're very
popular
on youtube :D There was also this other video I saw and it was about
some
tourist that visit a place in Korea. They meet a group of school girls
and
the girls seemed so interested and happy to speak English with the
tourist.
It was very cute :D I can't find that video anymore but the title is
'In
Korea'. I have saved the video on to my computer so if you want to see
it, I
can put it up for you. What do you usually watch on youtube?? So
체리필더 is
cherry filter in Korea? Thanks, I'll look for more things on them on
Thursday ^^
Well, I think that Tom Cruise is a good actor, but he's kind of weird
as a
person. Just my opinion. So you go for the pretty face, huh? Me too ^^
To be
honest, I think that I like Korean actresses the most ^^; No particular
reason except they are very pretty to me *^^* You didn't like Yuni? As
a
singer or as a person? Yeah, I think that it was too much for the
people
writing all those nasty things about her. Recently, it seems to me that
a
lot of celebrities have committed suicide. Is this really true, or does
it
seem that way just because of the news and entertainment shows. But I
do
think it's really sad that these people decide to kill themselves. What
do
you think?
The traditional snacks you mentioned seemed interesting. I want to try
them
now ^^ I have a question. There is this type of snack that I have eaten
and
I think it come from China. I am not sure if you know it, but it's like
a
chewy dough ball with a red bean paste inside. On the out side of the
ball
is a sesame seed coating. Have you heard of this before? I don't really
know
the name but when ever my sister goes to San Francisco she brings some
home;
she doesn't know the name either. I'll send a picture of them...
Kongju,
what kind of Korean snacks do you like!? You mentioned potato chips but
do
you have any favorites in particular? I am thinking of going to a
Korean
grocery store so maybe I can try some of your favorite snacks. How
about
your favorite foods (that don't require cooking). Last time I went to
the
Korean grocery store I bought a big jar of jajang sauce because I
wanted to
try and make jajangmyun but it turned out bad so I there's a big jar of
jajang sauce in my refrigerator and I don't know what to do with it ^^;
I
think the sauce went bad by now ^^;; haha
I looked for the movie 'Sunshine' and I found a few things about it. I
didn't know that it was released this year. I haven't heard anything
about
it before. No TV commercials or advertisements. Maybe it's not in wide
release yet, just in a few theaters. At the website it had a good
review so
maybe I'll watch it when I have time. No I haven't seen 28 days ^^;;
Have
you? Ah, I have a funny story for you. My Geology teacher thinks that
'The
hills have eyes' is the stupidest movie ^^;; We were talking about it
once
during class and it was very funny. Four is an unlucky number in Korea?
Is
it only for certain things or every thing. Like is it bad to have four
children ^^;; Is it really true that some places don't have a fourth
floor?
It is skipped or labeled something else. 'Sex is Zero' is a really
funny
movie? Then I guess I should watch it some time. I am just curious, but
are
interested in the things in that movie?? ^^;; j/k *_*
I'll send some new sun glasses to Jung Il for Christmas ^^; Do you
think he
celebrates Christmas?? I don't know about an expensive brand. What if I
get
something that doesn't match his gray suit and he doesn't wear them ^^;
At
school there's this small stand and they sell sun glasses. Maybe I
should
look there for some^^;; Wow, I wonder what would happen if you really
did
send him new sunglasses. What if it makes him give up and Korea get's
unified because of it ^^
No I haven't heard of 74434 but it sounds interesting. The whole
subject
sounds similar to what happened with Great Brittan when all the other
countries wanted their national treasures back from when the British
empire
plundered them. Haha, I think I know what you mean about being upset. I
am
getting upset as well -_-;
I guess I should have known that you'd like rollercoaster. I think you
are a
thrill seeker ^^; Have you ever wanted to go sky diving? Near my house
there's a place you can go skydiving. During the summer you can see a
lot of
people sky diving from my house ^^ For me, I don't think I'll ever go
sky
diving. I like to play it safe :D
Sure you can make a pink muffler for me :P Just as long as it's a light
to
pastel pink. I don't really like the shades toward magenta. hahaha :P
Maybe
I'll make some thing for you as well :D Do you wear pajamas when you
sleep?
:D I haven't made some in a long time, but I might make you some pajama
pants :D Sounds good? :) I already know your waist size, but how long
are
your legs?? ^^; Do you think it's strange that I would like a pink
muffler.
I was kind of kidding but I don't really mind. I guess it would make it
even
more special. Maybe I should send you a picture of myself wearing my
'girly'
shirt :D It is a shirt for men but it's just very girly colors :D haha.
It's
the only shirt that I have, the rest of my shirts are normal colors. I
just
hope that you don't get the idea that I secretly like to wear women’s
clothing :P That's not true! ^^: haha
But now that I think of it...have you ever wondered what it would be
like a
man Kongju?? :D Maybe in my next life I would want to be born as a
woman
^__^ hehehe. I wonder what it is like but I still think that even in
these
modern times, I think it is still better to be male; women are still
treated
differently than men. Do your parents treat you differently from your
brothers because you are a girl? Like they won’t let you do things but
your
brothers can do them because they are worried of you getting hurt, or
something like that? If I ever have children, and especially if it's a
girl,
I would probably raise her differently than what I think the normal way
is
today. Do you know what I mean? For instance, I wouldn't 'box her in'
in to
a certain type such as playing with dolls or the typical pink room. If
she
wants to play with toy cars or blow things up I wouldn't stop her (okay
maybe the blowing up stuff part ^^;;) I mean I don't want others to see
her
as not feminine, but I don't want her to feel weak inside either and
feel
like she needs a man to help her every time. You know what I mean? haha
Anyway, if I were a woman, I would probably like to wear girly clothes
:P
hahahaha.
To be honest, I don't really know the average size people wear these
days
^^; So you liked the stuff in the website that I told you. I think I am
getting to know your style ^^ Honestly, I think the clothes on that
website
are very cute ^^; I guess you’re correct when you think that my tastes
are
kind of feminine. But now you kind of make me embarrassed about it ^^;
but
it's okay. I'll just say that if I had a wife or girlfriend I would
like it
if she wore those kinds of clothes :D Ah, are you going to tell your
friends
that you know a guy that likes girls' clothing now?? ^_^; Do I really
seem
sociable? Actually, it is kind of hard for me to make friends quickly
^^; I
am kind of shy in person. But once I get to know someone, I feel more
comfortable with them. How about you? Do you make friends quickly? You
seem
like a very likeable person! :)
Your cousins' names end with Eun as well? I have always found this
interesting about Korean culture. What are your cousins' names? I don't
think you look like a fool, you just didn't know. Do you know all your
cousins? I only know my cousins from my dad's side very well. I think

all of them that well. Do you know why Koreans' still write names with
Chinese characters? Is it to distinguish different people with the same
name? I once knew two different people with the name 'Kim Jihye' ^^;
You haven't had a boyfriend since the 9th grade? Well, I've never had a
girlfriend before! Isn't it sad? -_-;; I don't really know why though.
I'm a
likeable person, aren't I? Well, maybe this girl liked me but I don't

(If you don't mind me asking ^^;) Do you know anybody Kongju that would
like
a long-distance pen-pal boyfriend? ;) j/k What type of person do you
like?
Umm, I think I wrote enough today, so I'll tell you what person I like
next
time ;)
Stay healthy! 좋아해! Jason :)
I think laughing is also good for keeping you health. Laugh with me
again...
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ;)
PS don't feel bad if your package is a little late! :) Wow, I forgot to
mention this. I told you I took a math test today, well I did terrible
on
it. I know I failed it ^^; But I don't feel too bad about it. I will
have to
take this class again next time :( Also in my bowling class on Monday I
got
two strikes in a row ^^ It was the first time. I tried to get three
strikes
in a row but I got to nervous ^^; Do you like 'Pucca'?
